3 Step Night Time Skin Care Routine

Your night-time skin care routine is arguably the most important. Night is the essential repair time for our skin and your best opportunity for your skin to absorb all the benefits from your skin care products.Your night-time skincare routine should consist of these 3 essential steps.

#1 Truly Cleanse

It’s important to remove all makeup, dead skin cells, surface dirt, and pollutants from your skin before you continue on your skin care routine.

1. Eye makeup remover
2. Facial cleanser
3. Toner (toner restores your skin’s pH)

Note: clay and mud masks are deeply cleansing and have the ability to draw impurities and oil from deep in the skin. For that reason, these masks can be a part of the cleansing step.

#2 Address Your Concerns

What would you like to improve about your skin? Pigmentation, aging, pore size, redness, tone, texture? The products you use during this step will have about 7-8 hours to work without being evaporated or smeared. These products would include your:

– Eye repair products
– Serums
– Retinol or lactic product (if needed)

Note: These products should have a smaller molecular size and weight than your moisturizer (next step,) as your goal is to have it absorb and work into your skin. For example, the product line we carry uses technology to fragment or micronize their hyaluronic acid and retinol for optimum results.

#3 Hydrate + Moisturize

Your last step would be to infuse your skin with moisture and hydration to combat dryness and dehydration. Many of our skin care creams are formulated to multi-task and help address concerns while hydrating the skin. These products would include your:

– Face cream or oil
– Lip products
